The funeral of the late Evan Lloyd Downes, also known as “Terry or Lad” of Mahogany Circle, Union Development, St. Philip, formerly of Newbury, St. George and Streathan, England.  A member of the Dolphin Miami Beach Group.  Husband of Moria Downes.  Father of Argyle and Frank St. Hill, Patsy Downes, Nicola and Siobhan Downes.  Brother of Peggy Pilgrim, Compton Downes, Agnes Thompson, Ashley “Bison” Downes, Douglas, Marva and George Downes.  Uncle of George Padmore and Debora Downes.  Grand-father of seven.  Great-grand-father of four.  Cousin of Erla Campbell, St. Clair Downes, The Honourable M.P. Gline Clarke and many others.  Friend of many.  The funeral leaves Waithe’s Funeral Home, Greens, St. George on Friday 15^th April 2016 at 2:45 p.m. for St. Jude’s Anglican Church, St. Jude’s Village, St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 4:00 p.m. for service and then the interment in the church yard.  The organist and choir members are asked to attend.  Floral tributes can be sent to Waithe’s Funeral Home not later than 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
